Welcome to The Heene Road Practice

We are a busy practice based in central Worthing.

Following a period of ill health, Dr Das has now retired from the practice.  We have 1 partner, Dr Hamid.  We are also joined by doctors who are qualified but undertaking training in general practice.  These GP registrars are usually with us between 3-6 months.

We offer a mixture of pre-bookable and on the day appointments.  We would ask that you advise us as quickly as possible if you are unable to attend for a booked appointment so that we can offer it to another patient.

We are not currently accepting new patients.

**New** MIAMI clinics and Childrens Walk In

From 1st July 2015, if all of our ‘on the day’ urgent appointments are fully booked, our reception team may offer you an appointment at our new MIAMI clinic.

The MIAMI (Minor Injury Assessment & Minor Illnesses) clinic is a new service being launched by 19 local GP practices across Adur and Worthing. Click here for further information

We would be very interested if you would be able to tell us how how we are doing.  Logon to to undertake a short survey.  We are always happy to receive comments and suggestions - there is a leaflet available in reception.

Surgery training

In order to improve the service we provide for you - our patients - we, together with our colleagues at other practices, sometime close for an afternoon.

There is still an urgent service available should you need to access healthcare during the afternoon and if you do need NHS help during this time we will give you a number to call.

We take extra steps to make sure we can see as many patients as possible during the morning of training days and open again first thing the next day.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused but hope that you can understand this activity, which will ensure we are able to provide you with the most up-to-date and best possible health services.

The training days for 2015 are

Thursday 12 February,

Thursday 26 March

Tuesday 19 May

Tuesday 16 June

Wednesday 15 July

Wednesday 16 September

Wednesday 14 October
